Preparing for Delivery
1. Schedule a video call with Propsera to do a walk through of the facility.
a. Prospera will look for areas of the building that may need to be restricted. (Glass walls, staircases, steep slopes, etc.)
b. Prospera will look over the chosen location for the charging dock to see if it is adequate.
2. The robot will come in a large wooden crate pictured below. Make sure there is a plan for a clear route to get it into the building and that a dolly for transportation is present incase needed.
Choosing a Charging Dock Location
1. The charging dock should not be moved once the robot is mapped. Choose a location wisely.
2. The charging dock must be against a wall.
3. The other 3 sides of the charging dock must have 3ft of clearance on all sides for the robot to adjust itself while docking.
**If putting the charging dock on a hard surface, there are adhesive strips on the bottom of the charger that can be used. The charger cannot be moved once these are used. **
Unboxing the Robot
1. The wooden box can be lifted off the top of the robot or deconstructed. This box does not need to be kept.
2. If returning the robot is an option, the inside wrapping around the robot will need to be kept in good condition. Plan to store this accordingly.
3. If further instruction is needed, contact Prospera directly.
Starting the Robot
1. Once the robot is unboxed, plug in the charging station at the agreed upon location.
2. Turn the robot on using the external power buttons.
(These power button locations are for the Enlarged Waiter Robot. The Mars Unit and Enclosed Unit have different locations.)
a. Turn the bottom power button on first.
b. Then turn the upper power button on.
3. While the robot is starting, back it up onto the charging dock. The green light should be blinking.
4. Connect the robot to the WIFI. Click the red button on the top right hand corner of the robot screen.
5. Click "Settings."
6. Type in "9999" for the password.
7. Go to "System Settings."
8. Click the "WLAN" button with the WIFI symbol above it and connect the device to your WIFI network.
9. The robot is now online and will be ready for the mapping stage. Nothing further needs done at this time.
