AutoXing Robot Models: Voice Broadcast Changes and Uploads

Voice Broadcasts

Voice Broadcasts are what the robot says as it performs or finishes tasks. Default ones come with the robot, but they are catered to restaurants. New ones can be uploaded as MP3 files. 

Uploading New Voice Broadcasts

1. Click the red button on the top right corner of the robot screen.

      

















2. Click "Settings."



3. Type in "9999" for the password.



4. Go to "Voice Broadcast."




5. Click Upload" in the top right corner. 



6. Click "Upload New File."



7. Once on the page pictured below, music can be uploaded in two ways.
      a. Scan the barcode or type the web address in on a mobile device. (We recommend typing the address in for this option.)
      b. Type the web address in on a desktop browser, preferably Google Chrome. (This option is more user friendly.) 

*Note: Both the desktop version and the mobile version of the uploading website look the same. Follow the same steps below for either option.*



8. Once on the uploading website, click "Choose File" and upload the file from that mobile device. 
      a. Size requirements listed must match the uploaded file or it will not work on the robot.
      b. Names of files should not include any special characters. Ex.) ", _+ ! 
      c. Only one file can be uploaded at once so the upload is not too big to send to the robot.

**Note: Steps may look slightly different for Android phones.**



9. Hit "Send" to send the file to the robot. 



10. A successful upload onto the robot will show the file name on the robot screen. Click "Confirm."




Changing Voice Broadcasts

1. Use steps 1-4 above, if needed, to get back to the Voice Broadcast page.
2. On the Voice Broadcast page on the robot, click the word "default" next to the voice broadcast that needs changed. 

*Note: If unsure what that specific voice broadcast is for or what the default option sounds like, click the megaphone/volume icon next to the name of the voice broadcast to hear it play.*



3. Scroll through the sound options and select the desired sound file. Click "confirm."
